We are Garry Pollak & Co and we work with clients to resolve their Employment Legal issues.

Garry Pollak & Co is a boutique legal firm specialising in all matters relating to employment relationships. We are the only such dedicated, specialised law firm in New Zealand. We were established in 1989 after many years of involvement in employment law and industrial relations. We have been involved in many of the leading cases under the Industrial Relations Act 1973, Labour Relations Act 1987, Employment Contracts Act 1991 and the present Employment Relations Act 2000 and/or other employment related legislation such as the Holidays Act.

We have been involved in many of the leading Court of Appeal and Employment Court considerations of employment law. For instance this included the first case under the Employment Contracts Act and the first case under the Employment Relations Act. Our involvement spans the spectrum of employment, legal, collective bargaining, industrial relations and human resources issues.  We are committed to providing the best advice and representation with a strong emphasis on practical dispute resolution.
